Email: Joanb@morrealelaw.com
Throughout Joan’s 40-year legal career, her attention to detail and problem-solving skills have helped her in assisting clients through a variety of legal issues. She joined the Morreale law firm as an associate in 1996, and she became a partner with John F. Morreale in 2009.
Her current focus is real estate and relocation real estate law, which enables her to work, both locally and nationally, with the firm’s clients. As a native of Chicago, Joan enjoys working with local buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of real estate.
As a Worldwide ERC-certified Relocation Professional and Global Mobility Specialist, Joan works with other relocation professionals to provide legal support to transferring employees, relocation services companies, and various relocation trade associations regarding issues that arise throughout the relocation and home sale process. This often entails troubleshooting, including title clearance, document reviews, relocation policy advice, closing and post-closing issues.
Joan serves on the Worldwide ERC®’s Government Affairs Committee, working on the Real Estate and Mortgage Forum, as well as the Tax and Regulatory/Compliance Forums. Joan is also a legal advisor for the Corporate Relocation Council of Chicago and the Executive Committee for the Midwest Relocation Conference.
